Day One Society Board President Marilyn McLean, Executive Director, Siân Lewis and Amplify Communications Consultant Aleece Laird met with Tk’emlúps te Secwe̓pemc Kúkpi7 Rosanne Casimir and Council members Thomas Blank, Josh Gottfriedson, Dave Manuel, Marie Baptiste (joined virtually), Nikki Fraser, Justin Gottfriedson, and Morning-Star Peters.
We thank TteS Kúkpi7 Rosanne Casimir and Council members for their time and the meaningful discussion about the ongoing social and health issues related to the toxic drug supply. We look forward to further collaboration to mitigate the impacts of the opioid crisis and to improve support and services to Indigenous individuals, families and communities.
