THE RAVEN PROGRAM:
Youth Counselling & Family Support

Day One Society’s Raven Program welcomes you into the next step of your wellness journey. We recognize that the decision to change your lifestyle can be difficult. Our counsellors believe you have the strength to make a better life for yourself and we are committed to making you feel safe and supported. Everyone’s journey is different. We are here to help turn the thought of “one day I’ll get help,” into day one for youth and their families to access the help they need to bring healing. We are committed to making everyone feel safe and supported.

Here is what you need to know:

Program Details

The Raven Program works with youth, their families, and community to bring about healthy lifestyle changes. Our focus is to provide counselling, education, and support to reduce harm related to substance use. Youth engaging in the program will take an active role and be encouraged to be part of their own planning and treatment process. Every effort is made to provide services to youth as soon as possible and to work closely with referral agencies.

The Raven Program offers several services to youth and their families, including:

  • On-site counselling in schools or at community agencies

  • One-on-one counselling at our Phoenix Centre facility in Kamloops

  • Parental support through information, education, and consultation

  • Counselling for youth living with addiction in their families

  • Community focused prevention and information sessions

  • Outreach services to meet youth and families in community who otherwise cannot access our services
