Royal Inland Hospital Foundation Supports Safety Improvements at Day One Society

Day One Society is grateful to the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation for its generous support in helping upgrade the security camera system at its facility.
As the only detox facility serving the Thompson-Nicola Regional District, Day One Society provides an important service for individuals seeking help with substance use challenges. Creating a safe and supportive environment is an essential part of that work, both for those accessing care and the staff who support them each day.
The new security cameras are a practical improvement that will help maintain a secure facility and support daily operations. While improvements like these may not always be visible to the community, they play an important role in allowing staff to focus on providing compassionate, respectful care.
“Day One Society provides an important service for our region,” says Heidi Coleman, CEO of the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation. “We have been pleased to support the organization over the years. Investments in essential infrastructure, such as security systems, help ensure staff can continue their work and that people accessing services can do so in a safe environment.”
The Foundation has been a valued supporter of Day One Society over the years, contributing to improvements that help strengthen the organization's programs and services.
Day One Society extends its sincere thanks to Heidi Coleman and the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation for their continued generosity and commitment to supporting the health and well-being of people in our community.
